The emerald waters surrounding southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands are the year-round playground of many spectacular ‘family’ pods of killer whales (orcas). Certified marine biologists and naturalists will safely guide you along Victoria’s beautiful coastline, providing educational commentary and incredible views of these magnificent mammals and many other members of our diverse marine eco-system.
Departing downtown Vancouver onboard West Coast Air’s twin engine floatplane, you’ll enjoy a 35 minute scenic flight to Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Once in Victoria, you’ll experience an incredible 3 hour whale watching excursion onboard a zodiac-style vessel or a fully covered 45’ ocean cruiser. After the tour, the remainder of the day may be spent at leisure to explore the charms of our capital city. You have the option of returning to Vancouver by air or coach & ferry.
