The Otter
West Coast Air operates two different aircraft, the deHavilland Twin Otter and the deHavilland Beaver. The deHavilland Twin Otter or DHC-6 was first flown in 1965 and after 22 years of production, they produced over 800 aircraft. Three different series were manufactured, 100, 200 and 300. West Coast Air operates 100 and 200 series. These aircraft can be configured for wheels, skis or floats. All West Coast Air aircraft are on floats. This aircraft is a STOL type (short take-off and landing)
